Vancouver TechFest 2007 Presentation

This past Saturday (Feb 24), I gave a presentation on Mock Objects at the first annual Vancouver Techfest. Jean-Paul Boodhoo was originally scheduled to give his amazing talk on Generics, but unfortunately was unable to attend and asked me to present in his place.

I had a great time talking tech with the folks from the Vancouver user groups and those in attendance. Fellow presenter, John Bristowe, was in attendance and has several great video clips of the event on his blog. I think the event was, as Borat would say, "Great success!". This was my first presentation and it was a blast! I love discussing tools, techniques, methodologies, and tech with others.

As there were no presenter evaluations provided at the Techfest, I would really appreciate any feedback from those who attended my presentation. Please feel free to send me an email with positive feedback and/or constructive criticisms. I really value your input as this is the only feedback I have to help me improve future presentations.

(FYI: Because we ran out of time, there were a couple compiler errors that weren't sorted out. I looked at the code afterwards and realized that I simply forgot to implement the IClientService interface members on the StubClientService. After I implemented GetAllClients, all compiler errors were resolved. The sample code reflects this resolution.)
